Academic documents may be issued in different formats depending on the education system and document-issuing practices of each country.
Applicants should submit the official documents issued by the relevant institution or authority in the form officially used in their educational system, even if the documents differ from the examples or format described in the Admissions Guidelines.
For example, a document may combine proof of completion of secondary education and academic records into a single document, or certain academic records may not be issued as separate official documents.
Applicants should generally submit documents demonstrating completion of their entire high school curriculum (e.g., high school graduation certificate or school leaving certificate), together with academic records covering all years of high school.
If the required documents are issued in a different format or certain academic records are not available as separate official documents, applicants should submit the official documents that are issued and can be properly authenticated (apostilled or Korean Consular-authenticated), together with a brief explanation of the document-issuing system or circumstances and any relevant official notice or supporting documentation, where applicable.
If additional academic records are available only in an unauthenticated form, such as a school report or internal academic record, applicants are encouraged to submit them as well so that their academic progress and achievement can also be considered. However, such materials do not automatically replace the required official documents and will be reviewed in accordance with the Admissions Guidelines.
