POSTECH implements customized scholarship policies that consider the economic conditions of each household, so that any student may continue his or her studies in spite of financial difficulties and develop a global mind and academic skills. Available Scholarships (Relavant Track) Coverage Eligibility

Tuition Scholarship

(All Tracks)

 Full Tuition Waiver
  • All admitted Korean and international students at POSTECH receive full scholarships upon enrollment.
    If they meet the continuous support criteria set by POSTECH(GPA of 3.0/4.3 for the previous semester), they can receive tuition support for the full 8 semesters of their regular program.
    (The same scholarship criteria apply as for domestic undergraduate students.)
Digital Scholarship
(All Tracks)		 Cutting-edge Digital Devices (ex.iPad Pro Kit)
  • All Korean&international undergraduate students
Pathfinder Voucher
(All Tracks)		 10,000,000 KRW of Learning Voucher provided to all students enrolled after 2024 (KRW 2,500,000/year, KRW 10,000,000 over 4 years)
  • All Korean&international undergraduate students who have completed at least three semesters.

Arrival Scholarship
(International Admissions I)

Actual cost of airfare and domestic transportation expense
(up to 2,500,000KRW)

  • New international undergraduate students who have not lived in Korea within 6 months prior to admission

Living Allowance

 500,000 KRW per month
(including vacation periods)
  • All international undergraduate students (No GPA requirements)
Korean Proficiency Scholarship
(International Admissions I)		 300,000 KRW
  • International undergraduate students with TOPIK level 4 or higher (One-time support)
GKS Scholarship
(GKS Embassy Track, University Track)		 Airfare, language training costs, tuition, and study allowances
